Matthew 7:13-14: Enter By The Narrow Gate

In Matt 7:13-14 Jesus said, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate & broad is the way that leads to destruction, & there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate & difficult is the way which leads to life, & there are few who find it.” Prov 16:35 There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. — Why the narrow way? Because, It leads to eternal life! Our nature is to gravitate toward comfort, pleasure, lusts, self desires & greed over Him! To deny ourselves, is not in our nature! To put others first, is not our first choice, let alone serve them! God knows that in our self-centered, sin-filled world there are not many who will care enough to come to Him on His terms. To sacrifice self centeredness, to become Christ centered, is truly the hard & narrow path! Sin traps us on the broad road, but Jesus tells us to resist the devil & he must flee! I am here to tell you, any sacrifice we make, then that will truly be the most gratifying decision that we ever make! Gods ways are higher than ours, so our higher choices just move us to higher ground! What a great place to be when the floods come! Love Mel

The Fall Feasts of the Lord Start Now. Trumpets, Atonement and Tabernacles. A Glorious Time.

Deuteronomy 16:16 says “Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread (Passover); in the feast of weeks (Pentecost); & in the feast of TABERNACLES: & they shall not appear before the Lord empty handed”. —The Lords main festivals are Passover, Pentecost & Tabernacles. The yearly festival cycle demonstrates redemption, provision & presence respectively. This month we see the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement & the Feast of Tabernacles (all part of Tabernacles). We are not under law but under grace. But let’s celebrate with believers around the world, the last of Gods appointed festivals for the year. Friday, September 18th is the first possible sighting day for the Seventh Hebrew Month, also know as Tishri. We will be watching & waiting for the New Moon to be sighted in Israel so we can announce when the Feast Of Trumpets will be Celebrated. For Christians, this day could be the revealing of our Lord in His full glory for all the world to see! Known as the blowing of Trumpets to usher in our King of Kings! Love Mel
