Eph 1:5 God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, & it gave Him great pleasure. Rom 8:15-17 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father”. The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, & if children, then heirs—heirs of God & fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with Him in order that we may also be glorified with Him. —We have been adopted by our Father in Heaven & He is always waiting patiently with His arms wide open! We are His heirs! — Matt 5:16 Therefore, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works & give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Phil 2:14-15 Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked & twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.
