2 Peter 1:5-8 For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, & virtue with knowledge. & knowledge with self-control, & self-control with steadfastness, & steadfastness with godliness, & godliness with brotherly affection, & brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours & are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. —To be faithful & full of virtue keep us from harm, allows us to be effective & fruitful.
